The question I would be asking yourself and Jay if I was a Democratic Party strategist is under what circumstance you would vote for say Gavin Newsom over any Republican candidate other than Trump or Vivek. The answer is probably none or when hell freezes over. Thus there is really no reason for the Democratic party to do what you and Jay want because there is nothing in it for them.
Let's see what we have here...Hmmm, Hunter Biden's Laptop (was it ever proven to NOT be a plant by RU?)...Afghanistan...yep, that's a good point, except Biden was honoring an admittedly bad deal negotiated with the Taliban by Team Trump...and now we get a niggle about whether Joe's wife and daughter were killed by a drunk driver, or just killed. Look, Thomas, let's level with each other, you (a conservative) and I (a liberal). Joe Biden is a middle-of-the-road, bipartisan compromise-seeking politician who probably won the 2020 election because his hame was not Donald Trump, rather than due to his charismatic personality. Yet Team Biden scored a remarkable victory in passing significant legislation in the face of strong Republican opposition. And, yes, he is OLD-old. If there were a reasonable alternative -- some up-and-coming young Democrat who was smart, telegenic and had a catchy ;life story (think, Obama) were to step forward, maybe the Dems would have a real primary fight on their hands. But politics has its own, twisted logic in determining outcomes: odds are, the guy with the most money behind him will win his party's nomination. Incumbency is a mighty strong force, both for getting media coverage and attracting big-dollar donations. Unless Joe Biden suffers a sudden physical decline or decides to drop out, he will be the Democratic nominee. That said, your time would probably be put to better use analyzing the Republican field and picking a likely winner, assuming that Trump is determined to be ineligible for his many misdeeds, chiefly seeking to undermine our democratic elections process.
The claim was that the laptop was Russian disinformation. No evidence to that effect was forthcoming. dodging around that inconvenient fact by demanding proof of a negative doesn't pass muster.
If you think that what Biden said about Curtis Dunn was "a little niggle"—well, how would you have liked it if Dunn was your father? That incident shows up Joe Biden for what he is: a low-down rat.
On Afghanistan, if Biden was honoring a bad deal engineered by Trump, then he's as big a fool as Trump. I'm prepared to accept that argument.
Significant legislation? As if! Few people care about the Inflation Reduction Act & etc., as Biden's crappy poll numbers show.
As for Biden's middle-of-the roadness—please!
And yeah, he's old. And losing his marbles. And unable to do the job.
There's zero evidence that the laptop was anything other than what it appeared to be. The fact is, the intelligence establishment and Blinken lied about it. Biden has been well-known as a fourth-rate politician for decades, with signs of early dementia as far back as 30+ years ago. (Look up "Biden 1988 campaign" if you doubt this.) He was a joke as vice-president, except now he's President and the sick, sad joke is on the rest of us.

Very logical. But it leaves you with…Joe Biden, who is, let us be frank, dysfunctional…
How do i delete you?
No, how do I delete you…?
