Hate to say it, but your repetitive verbatim comments really sound Trump-like. And no, that’s not meant as a compliment but rather a concern..
Take care of yourself. Your posts are more interesting when you have your voice intact rather than pushing that vindictive’repeat’ button of which Trump excels.
Not really, when he ratted out when the call came. What were those twenty-four years worth? Nothing. Walz erased them. When the Army and his soldiers really needed him, he bailed on them. So screw him.
Walz, A command sergeant major, bugged out when he learned that his Guard unit was due for mobilization and deployment orders. Perhaps you need to have served in the armed forces to understand how much that sucks. Or maybe you’re just OK with such behavior as long as the politician concerned promises to cancel your student debt and shower you with food stamps.
Oh, bullshit. Stating the facts is not a smear. As I said, what Walz did was selfish and dishonorable. He’s a disgrace to the uniform, period.
As far as John Kerry concerned, he too got what was coming. Back in the day, he defamed his fellow Vietnam veterans, denouncing them as murderers and war criminals—carefully excluding his own service from that indictment, of course! We used to call the Purple Heart the only one you couldn’t fake. Kerry proved us wrong on that score. Then along he came in 2004, rendering the military salute at the Democratic National Convention as he accepted his party’s presidential nomination. That salute was middle finger, flourished in the face of every American veteran. Screw him.
Walz, the senior NCO of his unit, bugged out on his fellow soldiers when the crunch came. That’s not a smear, it’s a fact. Defend him if you like—but it’s a defense of the indefensible.
Interesting use of the word "smear" by suggesting the facts as are known, which put someone in a bad light, somehow should not be highlighted for someone looking for a top office in the United States.
This episode reminds me of Kerry in 2004. A candidate touts his military service even though his record was questionable. Kerry paid a political price. Will Harris-Walz?
They seem worried. But it's not a smear if the facts bear out the charge. As I said, Walz may have been within his legal rights to retire. But for the senior NCO of a National Guard battalion on the verge of mobilization to do it—ugh.
They are trying to say this is a swift boating attack. Well it’s only an attack if it’s a lie. It wasn’t a lie about a John Kerry and it’s not a lie about Walz.
But the issue with Walz isn’t that he retired. He said he went to Afghanistan and fought. That is stolen valor.
Correct. Still, to me the issue is that he bugged out when duty called. That’s the biggie. I asked myself if I could ever have done such a thing, or if I’d known any other senior NCOs in the Guard and Reserve who’d have done such a thing, and the answer was no.
I guess I already did

Bite me, Skippy.
A lot better than 5 deferments. A whole lot better..😃

This is the best you’ve got? Pretty sad.

I just keep hearing this 'Brave, brave Sir Robin!" running through my mind, coconut shells clopping along.

He was “acting CSM”.
Old playbook-Chris LaCivita trying to smear Walz the same way he did with John Kerry https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/trump-campaign-chris-lacivita-swift-boat-veteran.html
Let’s see what else the Trump campaign scrambles to find before ol’ Bone Spurs completely loses the plot..

Trump received five deferments during Vietnam: four for his studies in college, and one for — you guessed it — bone spurs in his heel.
Defense of the indefensible my ass. Walz served 24 years in the Guard. Kwitchyerbellyakin..
Walz negated his twenty-four years of service by bailing out on his soldiers when his unit was called upon to serve in a combat zone. So screw him.
Chacun a son gout..
So how does Bugout Walz taste to you...?
How does that excuse Walz’s bugout?

Thanks- I guess I’m an interesting guy..
🤣🤣🤣
We’d have eaten him alive

Well, it’s not a good look.we shall see.
A senior NCO is integral to the smooth functioning of any unit.
By leaving when he did, Walz degraded the effectiveness of his unit.
Well, maybe the troops were glad to see the back of him...
Did you see the Democratic response: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2024/02/chris-lacivita-ran-one-of-american-politics-most-notorious-smear-campaigns-now-hes-working-for-trump/?fbclid=IwY2xjawEh5sZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHWgcMsOXT70_MPgtvRbWyu40L9JUcXBqpcZUOs-MRJ7-I0o5xhPge4Fu_g_aem_XnKxMbzURpruqjfDQ_2CAA
What is your take on it?
