Our culture is deeply gynocentric, always has been. It's rooted in biology, men in service to women, ie. 'life', ie. provide and protect, what feminists refute and call 'patriarchy' or oppression. Yet they still know it's true and weaponize it against men, to blame and shame. The dynamic doesn't change, except for the fallout. Michelle exemplifies the modern feminist. He was the breadwinner, whose labor and its fruits preserved intact our family life. But, you know, he handed his weekly wages over to my mother, who was our family’s economic tsar. And that, I think, was okay. My father’s dignity was preserved intact, and my mother made sure that the bills were paid.
