Listening to the audiobook version and to interview on Honestly. While the book shies away most of the way from directly addressing political consequences, one thing that's very clear is the difference between foreign and domestic policy. Sleepy Joe did have some, if feeble, influence over foreign policy. The intentions were arguably good, if feebly expressed and poorly thought through.

Domestic policy--from gender ideology to illegal immigration and beyond--was a disaster, in part, because there was *no one* legitimate in authority. Instead, it was increasingly under the sway of the far-left ideologues funded by the gigadonors, through their networks and NGOs.

Well, maybe. But I wonder who really was calling the shots on foreign policy.

Actually I believe that Biden never had PSA screening in tne past 10 years following population guidelines not made for presidents.

We expect (and accept) a certain level of mendacity in Washington.

But this is far beyond the norm.

The WH, the media, the Dem party, and Washington insiders lied to Americans.

They were willing to subvert democracy in order to stay in power.

The consequences are unknowable, but grim.

Inevitably, with the precedent set, it is only a matter of time before somebody else pulls another, similar or worse con.

Even worse, is the loss of trust in our governmental institutions.

A republic is built on a certain level of trust among citizens. The Biden administration has badly damaged that trust.

Only time will tell what the full consequences will be, but the cynicism that the Biden administration engendered among Americans is corrosive to our republic.

When you are old and dying and just want to do so in peace, I hope there is someone there to say "screw you".

FIrst off, its my take on your take. Beyond that, one would think that a writer could read for comprehension. Of course, one would also think that a writer who seems to write on political topics would have heard of Richard Nixon. But you aren't a writer; you're just a hack with no moral compass. So yeah, screw you. No need to wait.

We all knew, but only half of us would admit, that Biden was non compos mentis prior to the 2020 election. As the days marched on he only got worse and so did the denials. The coverup is always worse than the crime.

Your take was bullshit. And yeah, I know about Watergate. This is worse. Now get lost.

I had every intention of ignoring your reply. But since you told me to get lost, I just want you to know that going forward I will not be getting lost, but ignoring the reply.

It's up there with Watergate and Edith Wilson-Colonel House.

Of course, besides the staffers, we know who else was in charge -- the billionaire donors and their NGOs.

“Original Sin” landed in my Kindle today, and I’ve been reading it. Bad, bad story, worse than I expected. And as related in the book, it omits the cancer diagnosis. I’m thinking that it’s worse than Watergate.

Bear in mind that Biden’s prostate cancer is an aggressive strain, one that sounds similar to the strain that took my father-in-law’s life seven and a half weeks ago. Despite a clean scan six months earlier, my FIL was diagnosed in December with an aggressive strain of prostate cancer that had already metastasized to his bones. Aggressive in this context is the opposite of slow growing; it appears out of nowhere and spreads rapidly. We cannot assume that Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer prior to his withdrawal from the race.

Given the larger context of the coverup, I think we’re indeed entitled to assume that in this as in everything else, Biden World is flat-out lying. I see no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt.

My guess is medical exam in June or July 2024 discovered the cancer, and that was the final deciding factor. Withheld until now.
