The American Left has several groups you have to worry about. They are unoriginal in their org chart.

There are the leaders who promote destructive ideas and lies to acquire and maintain control while destabilizing society. There are the professors who form the ideological vanguard. There is the media who spits out the propaganda- this is where Applebrain comes in. Then there are the ignorant useful idiots and last but not least the violent thugs.

The leadership, the media, the thugs are all paid from donations by left wing billionaires, unions, retarded suburban women, and it now appears thanks to the information provided by the work of DOGE, by stealing trillions of our tax dollars and laundering them through government and nongovernmental organizations.

Whether any of these people believe anything they say is almost beside the point. Applebaum is a well known shill for the Establishment Left and Columbia is a nexus of all this crap where the CIA-Deep State-establishment blob designs its foreign policy and ideology and foments its pseudo-Marxist color revolutions. It gets a billion dollars a year in federal money and it hates America, Americans, Jews, Whites, heterosexuals, and Capitalism, although it loves to get paid. 60 percent of its student body is foreign.

Columbia needs a DEFCON 1 legal colonoscopy by the DOJ and they’re gonna get it. Strip all federal funding, prosecute criminal activity, deport foreign students engaged in behavior inimical to our national security and society, and make it the poster child for what happens to universities which break the law and seek to damage the citizens and nation.

The Orwellian irony of Applebaum and her supporters is mind numbing. The king has no clothes.

This letter, while I feel for anyone who loses their job, is indicative of the financial disconnect our country faces.

37 trillion dollars in seconds is 1.18 million years!

Yes, it’s amusing to see all these highly privileged people, many of whom have grown fat on the largess of government, whining and crying and playing the victim. Their elephantine sense of entitlement is now in collision with reality, and they’re not taking it well.

I tried to read her article and had to stop, the gaslighting was so overt. That someone like Applebaum somehow could not know that Khalil's detention has nothing to do with "free speech" and everything to do with his conduct is simply implausible. I have never been a Trump supporter, but the left's entire argument is that if Trump does it, it must be wrong and it must be opposed. Some of them don't know what the hell they are talking about, but others, like Applebaum, have to know better. When they peddle such a spurious argument, it has to be because it's in their personal interest to do do ... just like Bill Maher did on the same subject, last week.

Yes, You touch it with a needle. She knows better but exercises reality control or, as Mr. Orwell called it, doublethink.

Your point is correct. There is something in their “relationship” with Trump that forces them into irrational conclusions. The same is happening in Israel with Netanyahu here nearly all the law firms insist that the only way to protect democracy is not to allow a democratically elected government to fire the head of the secret police.

This escape from reason by those whose whole lives are based on reason is a fascinating and disturbing thing.

Tom—I know it’s a bit long—but would you please read and give me feedback on the first part of my recent novel I uploaded, Seducing the Therapist? As a writer. Even if you despise it and have nothing nice to say about it, I want to hear your opinion. I consider you a great writer too. I need to read more of your fiction, but the story I read was phenomenal. It would mean a lot to me knowing your opinion of mine.

Watching the left's rage reminds me of the book "Who Moved My Cheese?"

And like that mouse, they rage, insult, predict doom, and rile up their base.

In this, they remind me of Goebbels in late 1944.

But like the Nazis in 1944, they no longer have a path to victory.

So they poison the public landscape.

But the lefties are fellow Americans, so we have to tolerate their meanness. We don't like them, we don't respect them, but we have to allow them their stupidities.

And we have to tolerate the damage that they do.

What offends me is that they cloak their tantrums as civic virtue; it is not virtue, it is rage at losing their power, their graft, and their prestige.

And to be fair, that rage is also a fair dose of TDS.
